ASEE is pleased to announce the 16th European Employment Conference in collaboration with BASE, taking place in Liverpool from 7 to 8 December 2026.

This event will encapsulate the principles of BASE’s annual gatherings while emphasising excellence and innovation within the realm of Employment on an international scale.

Under the theme “The Art of the Possible; Connecting the Dots,” the conference underscores the ongoing dedication of the Supported Employment community to high-quality services, fostering inclusive workplaces, and evidence-based practices.

With an expected 750 delegates per day and a vibrant evening awards celebration for up to 800 attendees, the event will offer unparalleled opportunities to learn, connect, and shape the future of Supported Employment.

Conference Programme at a Glance

The conference will bring together practitioners and researchers from across Europe and beyond to discuss quality in Supported Employment, supporting young people in their transition from education to work, what evidence shows us about sustainable employment outcomes, how to engage employers and support worker retention, and digital skills training for people with disabilities.

18:30 until late | Drinks Reception, seated two-Course meal [main & dessert], 2026 Awards Presentation, dancing until late!

Day 2 – Tuesday, 8 December 2026 | From Insight to Action

08:00 – 10:30 | Registration opens, welcome back & framing the day, Responsible AI in Job Coaching

11:05 – 15:10 | Break-out Sessions D-E, Lunch, networking & exhibition area, fireside chat with strategic insight partner, informal knowledge-sharing session

15:15 – 16:30 | The Art of the Possible – aiming for high ambition, turning two days of learning into commitments, system change and shared direction, plenary and close
